“This 40 day challenge provided that spark needed to take control of my health and fitness. I consider myself fairly active, but my workouts had become mundane and yielded minimal results. Shawntes is an elite trainer, whose “get to work” attitude suited me perfectly. Throughout this challenge some of my results included weight loss, increased muscle definition and waistline reduction. I’m grateful for those, but there are two additional benefits that I must also mention, which are increased energy levels and reduced stress. “I’m 53, and I started my journey with Shawntes at 49. His beautiful wife Kayla (girlfriend at the time) introduced me to him a while back, and I knew he would be a great influence in my life. Fast forward to 2019, and I was SO RIGHT.
In 2019, I started and finished a 40 Days Fit Challenge through SGFitness34, and I couldn’t be happier. I didn’t lose the weight I wanted to (10lbs) I lost 5, but gained some serious strength.
I have always been an athlete. Involved in sports and worked out 6 days per week, but life happened and my eating and age needed some help. When I signed up with him, I thought I was strong, and I probably was for a 49 year-old. It’s been slow process that probably has tested his patience with me. I am 53 now and down 53 pounds and have gained ridiculous amounts of strength, physically and mentally. I am lucky enough to have had muscles my whole life, but never appreciated the strength behind those muscles. I feel the best I have in my adult life. I have so many gains.
